Joseph Quentin Johnston was pulled over on Bayview Street after he failed to stop at a stop sign (we don’t know why people with drugs in the car would ever break a single traffic law, but it happens all the time). Johnston, 32, and his passenger were obviously trying to conceal things as deputies walked up to the car, so they were removed from the vehicle and a probable cause search was conducted.

Inside the car, deputies found 242 grams of methamphetamine laced with fentanyl, 25.2 grams of acetaminophen/oxycodone pills and 10.2 grams of Adderall pills. They also found a digital scale and a black ledger along with $250 in cash.

The methamphetamine/fentanyl is illegal for anybody to have, and the pills are only legal if you have a prescription, which Johnston did not.

Johnston was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in oxycodone, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, manufacture/delivery of drug equipment and using a vehicle to traffic drugs.
