On your mark - get set - GO! This year's 9th annual Judd Jog 5K is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2023.Early registration is open now by going to www.JuddJog.org. All participants who register by April 14th will receive a t-shirt.The cost to participate is $30.00, and all of the proceeds benefit the United Way of Central Florida. Families and children are welcome, and everyone will receive a medal. Winners in different categories will also be awarded.Event day check-in and on-site registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at the PCSO Sheriff's Operations Center, 1891 Jim Keene Blvd in Winter Haven. The race will start at 8:00 a.m. - and those who wish to walk are also welcome!
The course is paved, and it starts near the front of the Sheriff’s Operation Center and wraps around the Polk Public Safety Complex on Jim Keene Boulevard, then takes a scenic lap around a lake, and finishes in a shady area behind the Polk State College Center for Public Safety.PCSO will have activities as well - from K-9 demonstrations to meet-and-greets with our specialty units. And of course, Sheriff Judd will be there.The media is encouraged to attend! Photos and video opportunities will be made available. We hope to see you there!
