
If you or someone you know loves animals and interacting with people, we have several vacancies for Animal Control Enforcement Officers.
Our ACOs are dedicated to keeping Polk County's citizens informed about the state laws and county ordinances that pertain to animals, and they are certified to enforce those laws. They locate reported stray animals and find their owners, and they work in the kennels to help find dogs and cats new forever homes. We will train you! All you need is a positive attitude and valid driver's license.
