Polk County Animal Control hosts "Adoptapalooza"

"We can't believe that there are still people out there who don't realize that Animal Control adopts out cats and dogs - and we do, every day! This summer we're trying something new with an 'Adoptapalooza' event - with FREE pet adoptions. Each pet we adopt out will already have its initial shots, a microchip, and will be spayed or neutered. That is a HUGE cost savings. If you already have a pet that needs shots, our partners at TLC Petsnip will be available for low-cost vaccinations. We'll also have food trucks and a crafters market. Bring the whole family, and find your furr-ever friend!"
